When we have decided on a time and date, I will send you a link through my client portal. That will allow you to download a secure site to log in to our sessions. It is important that you have a private place with good internet connection for your therapy appointment. Even though we aren’t in the room together, giving sessions the time and space to make it a productive meeting is important.

I conduct testing in person, and occasionally include in-person sessions for ongoing therapy when that is needed.

For therapy, initial sessions are $200. Follow-up sessions are typically 45 minutes and are $165. Shorter or longer sessions have different fees and can be arranged as needed.
For testing service fees, please refer to that section of the website.

The first therapy session is focused on getting background information that is relevant for your treatment, developing a clear understanding of what you are currently experiencing, and clarifying what your goals are for therapy. By the end of the session, I will provide you with recommendations for treatment for you to consider. Occasionally, a therapist is not a good fit for a client’s needs. If that is the case, I will provide some suggestions or alternative options for you to pursue. The first session is an important time for you to make sure that you feel like we are a good fit and that you are comfortable with a plan for moving forward with your treatment.

Each person’s treatment plan varies. Some people find that they can get what they need in 3-4 sessions. A more typical course of therapy is 8-20 sessions. Other people benefit from longer-term treatment. Most clients start out with weekly appointments, but after a few months many find that they can go with less frequent sessions. We will continue to assess your needs together and make adjustments to the plan as needed.
